The EU-funded MIX-UP project is developing new processes for the European circular economy. The start-up, based at RWTH Aachen University, is initiating more sustainable ways of managing plastic waste streams. Mixing non-degradable plastics with biodegradable plastics creates new raw materials for microbial conversion.
